Deer Fawn Over Newlyweds In Their Wedding Photos

Deer Fawn Over Newlyweds In Their Wedding Photos

A herd of deer couldn’t help but fawn over a newly-married couple as they took their wedding photos last weekend in Stockton, New Jersey.  Photographer Ian Christmann was photographing the wedding of Lauren and Erick when the herd of deer appeared in the woods during the middle of dinner, so Christmann interrupted the bride and groom to see if they were interested in taking a photo with the gathering deer, and the newlyweds agreed.

The deer were quite jittery as we approached, so I didn’t expect that we would be able to get so close!’ Christmann wrote on his website.  The photographer posted the pictures to his Facebook Sunday evening, and says the images quickly went viral.

But that’s not all thats wonderful about this story! The way Erick proposed was remarkable.

Erick, a screenwriter, proposed to Lauren on the set of “Callie Wants a Solo,” a short film in which she played Danielle, a woman who is mistakenly proposed to by a man who thinks she is someone else.  Before the take, she has her back turned to the other actors and her fiance slips into the scene, proposing to her using her real name, Lauren, as cameras record her stunned, emotional reaction.
